"I Feel Blessed"- Gyan Talks On Hitting 50-Goal Milestone For Ghana
Asamoah Gyan says he is “blessed” to have reached the 50-goal mark for Ghana and says the achievement does all his talking for him.
Gyan netted his 50th goal for the Black Stars this past weekend when he opened the scoring in a 5-0 win over Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
In hitting a half century of goals at international level, Gyan has joined an exclusive club of African players to have reached this milestone.
"For me, the numbers say it all. I don’t need to blow my own horns. The statics that I have done for the national team [is clear]," he told Starrsportsgh.
“I have nothing to say; it is left with the people to judge it, and me joining these legends I feel blessed and really thank God for what he has been doing for me so far."
