'His Legs Are Biscuit Bones'- Twitter Reacts As Leon Balogun Picks Up Injury Yet Again

Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun must be shaking his head at his fortunes after picking up an injury in the final game of the season for Mainz 05.

The defender looked like he had hurt his hamstring and had to be substitued in the 18th minute against FC Cologne- a game which Cologne would go on to win 1-0.

Balogun had only begun to regain a spot in Mainz's lineup and must be disappointed with the setback after battling numerous injuries at the beginning of the year.

But for Super Eagles' fans, it looks to be a heavy blow for the national team as the Eagles are set to be in action for friendly games before the AFCON qualifiers against South Africa in Uyo on the 10th of June.

Some could not hide their astonishment at the player picking up an injury after just returning from one not too long ago.
Hamstring injuries take around three weeks and three months to heal depending on the severity of the tear effectively ruling the player out of the Super Eagles' friendlies against Corsica on May 26th and Togo on June 1st.
