PSG Drop Interest In Gabon International, Player Deemed Too Expensive

Paris Saint-Germain have ended their pursuit of Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on orders of new sporting director Antero Henrique.

The 27-year-old striker has been the subject of a proposed move to the French capital but the club's sporting director has deemed the player too expensive and is on the look out for other alternatives.

It is being reported that PSG were in advanced talks with Dortmund over the player but the former Porto Director has put a stamp on not overpaying for the forward.

Alexis Sanchez remains at the top of PSG's wish list with Man City and Bayern Munich also in pursuit of the Chilean star.

Instead PSG’s first signing of the summer could well be a left-back, though no names have been made public by the Ligue 1 runners-up.
