NFF Settle Outstanding Salaries For Rohr & Orher Eagles Coaches

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have settled the outstanding debt of Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr and other Nigerian coaches.

According to NFF 2nd Vice President, Mallam Shehu Dikko, who is also Chairman of the NFF Sponsorship, Marketing and Television Advisory Committee, 27 outstanding salaries of 27 coaches were paid.

Among the 27 are a number are former coaches who have been owed some of their entitlements.

Rohr’s outstanding salaries were settled from the forex component of the transaction with Aiteo.

All the payments were made direct to the accounts of the beneficiaries through NFF’s Financial Consultants (Financial Derivatives Company) who are managing the money received from Aiteo.

It is our joy that the coaches can finally smile to the bank. A labourer deserves his wages, and that is why the present NFF administration worked assiduously hard to ensure the realisation of this partnership. The NFF is grateful to Aiteo Group for this breakthrough in making our coaches happy,” Dikko told the NFF website.

Before the payments, the coaches attended a two–day exercise at the NFF Secretariat, Abuja in May for reconciliation and harmonisation of the outstanding wages.
