Recap: Arsenal Triumph In F.A Cup Final, Barca, Dortmund, Celtic Win Domestic Cups

Arsenal vs Chelsea 2-1
Arsene Wenger secured his record seventh FA Cup final win as Arsenal produced a magnificent display to win a Wembley thriller against 10-man Chelsea.

Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead in contentious fashion after only four minutes, when referee Anthony Taylor overruled his assistant after he had flagged for offside against Aaron Ramsey.
The Premier League champions also claimed Sanchez handled in the build-up. And their task became even harder when Victor Moses was correctly sent off by Taylor in the second half after receiving a second yellow card for diving.

Diego Costa revived Chelsea's hopes of a repeat of their league and FA Cup double in 2010 when Arsenal keeper David Ospina failed to keep out his deflected shot with 14 minutes left.

Arsenal, outstanding throughout, refused to be denied and were back in front inside three minutes when Ramsey, who scored the FA Cup final winner against Hull City in 2014, did it again with a header from substitute Olivier Giroud's cross.

Wenger pumped his fists in delight at the final whistle, as a season that has brought so much criticism for the 67-year-old ended in Wembley glory with a record 13th FA Cup win for the Gunners - and a record seventh for the Frenchman.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Dortmund 1-2
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's penalty won the German Cup for Borussia Dortmund as they beat Eintracht Frankfurt and ended a run of three final defeats in a row.
Ousmane Dembele cut in from the right to lift an eighth-minute opener into the roof of the net for Dortmund. Ante Rabic swept in a 29th-minute equaliser, and Haris Seferovic then hit the post for Frankfurt.

Aubameyang chipped his 40th goal of the season from the spot after Christian Pulisic was brought down.

Victory provided a positive finish to a difficult season for Dortmund, who finished third in the Bundesliga, and suffered trauma when their team bus was damaged by an explosion before a Champions League quarter-final match against Monaco on 11 April.

They had been beaten in each of their previous three final appearances, twice against Bayern Munich either side of a defeat by Wolfsburg.

Barcelona vs  Alaves 3-1
Lionel Messi was inspired as Barcelona beat Alaves to secure the Copa del Rey for the third year running and give coach Luis Enrique a winning send-off.
Enrique is leaving after three years in charge at the Nou Camp. Ibai Gomez hit the post for Alaves before Messi scored his 54th goal of the season with a 20-yard curler.

Theo Hernandez bent in a free-kick to equalise, but Neymar turned in from close range and then Messi played in Paco Alcacer right on half-time.

Celtic vs Aberdeen 2-1
Celtic completed a domestic treble without losing a game as Tom Rogic fired in a stoppage-time goal against Aberdeen to win the Scottish Cup.

A beautifully controlled half-volley from Jonny Hayes after nine minutes was reward for a fine Dons start.
But Celtic were level within two minutes as Stuart Armstrong was given too much time to pick out the far corner from the edge of the box.

Late Celtic pressure paid off as Rogic fired low past goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

A thrilling 90 minutes concluded with Celtic not only lifting the cup for the first time since 2013 but becoming the first side in Scotland to complete an unbeaten treble.
