Premier League Duo Lead Chase For Talented Nigerian Youngster Onyekuru

Swansea and Brighton have stepped back into the chase for Arsenal target Henry Onyekuru, the goalscoring winger from Eupen.

The Belgian club will sell the 19-year-old who made his Super Eagles debut against Corsica XI for £6.8million and have no shortage of interest but Onyekuru is keen to come to the UK and to a club where he can play regularly.

Celtic are also mulling over an offer for the Nigerian who has scored 24 goals this season and provided 14 assists.

Though there are concerns about him obtaining a work permit, his representatives believe a deal can be struck which would allow to gain a permit via the totting up points process.

Eupen have bids from Anderlecht and Club Brugge while the exhaustive list of clubs to have made other offers includes Arsenal, Red Bull Leipzig, Schalke, Borussia Dortmund, Monchengladbach, Lyon, Lille, Monaco, Nice, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Fiorentina and Roma.
